Speaker:
John Ehlers earned both his BSEE and MSEE from the University of Missouri and later pursued doctoral studies at George Washington University, specializing in Fields and Waves with a minor in Information Theory. From 1961 to 2005, he built a distinguished career as an electrical engineer in research and development. Alongside his engineering work, he has been a private futures trader for more than 50 years and is widely known for popularizing MESA trading techniques. He has written over 100 articles for Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities (TASC) and has received four annual Readers’ Choice Awards. His current book, Cybernetic Trading Indicators, has earned 100% five-star reviews and is available on Amazon.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TALK:
This presentation introduces Using DSP techniques, John describes how to compute a smoother and more easily understood RSI. The resultant indicator clearly identifies cycle peaks and valleys in the price data.
