Currently he writes the Stock Market Update, a free, nightly report dealing with his interpretation of S&P futures based on price/volume behavior.

Mr. Weis has adapted Wyckoff’s original tape reading chart to create the Weis Wave, a charting method that provides a truer picture of volume and is especially proficient at recognizing changes in behavior prior to trend reversals.

Tom Hamilton

Tom purchased his first stock, 3 shares of General Telephone, at the ripe age of 10.  He was fortunate enough that the first investment book he read was “Technical Analysis of Stock Trends” by Edwards and Magee.  From that point on Technical Analysis has been his focus and his continuing study.

The technical bent lead him to engineering, and after 33 years in the automotive industry he retired at age 55.  Having witnessing so much investment misadvise he formed Special Risk Capital Management, LLC to manage his family’s retirement assets, while taking on a select group of clients.

Two philosophies have driven his work over the past 12 years, risk adjusted return and techniques that add alpha value to a portfolio.  While studying the high growth stock investment techniques of William O’Neil, he found that the Wyckoff Theory fits his personality and investment objectives very well.
