His nearly 25-plus years in the markets began at Merrill Lynch, followed by five years at Drexel Burnham Lambert where he was appointed Vice President, Financial Futures. He left the sell side of Wall Street and became a trader for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle, assisting in the management of a $1-billion portfolio of fixed-income products. After five years at the FHLB of Seattle, he moved to the educational field and worked for nine years as Editor of Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities magazine.
